Instructions
1. Preparation of the ingredients: Before you start, make sure that all ingredients are at room temperature. This will prevent an unwanted reaction when mixing. Pour the household vinegar and distilled water into a clean measuring jug. Prepare the tea tree oil and the chosen essential oil.

2. Mixing the base: Pour 250 ml of white household vinegar and 250 ml of distilled water into a clean spray bottle. This combination will form the base of your DIY mold spray.

3. Add baking soda: Now carefully add 1 teaspoon of baking soda. Caution: A slight foaming may occur - this is completely normal, as baking soda and vinegar react with each other. Wait briefly until the foam subsides before continuing.

4. Stir in the essential oils: Now add the 10 drops of tea tree oil and 10 drops of lavender oil (or lemon oil). These oils not only give your spray a pleasant fragrance, but also enhance the anti-mold effect.

5. Mix everything well: Close the spray bottle and shake it vigorously until all the ingredients are well mixed together. Voilà - your DIY mold spray is ready!
Ingredients
* 250 ml white household vinegar
* 250 ml distilled water
* 1 tsp baking soda
* 10 drops of tea tree oil
* 10 drops of lavender oil or lemon oil

◉ Preparation: Ensure that the area to be treated is dry. If the mold is already damp or wet, dab it first with a dry cloth.

◉ Application Time: Spray the DIY mold spray generously on the affected area. Make sure to spray even in hard-to-reach corners where spores like to hide.

◉ Let It Sit: Allow the spray to sit for at least 30 minutes. This will allow the natural ingredients to work their full effect.

◉ Cleaning: Afterward, wipe the area with a damp cloth or brush. For stubborn mold stains, it may be helpful to repeat the process.

Store your DIY mold spray in a cool, dark place. A simple drawer or cupboard will suffice.
Note: Since our spray contains natural ingredients, it’s advisable to use it within 4 to 6 weeks. Fresh ingredients work best!
Shake well before each use to ensure the ingredients are well mixed.

◉ Regular Monitoring: Just because you’ve applied it once doesn’t mean you won’t discover mold again. Moisture and poor ventilation are often the main causes. Therefore:

Regularly check damp corners and hard-to-reach areas.

Ensure adequate ventilation, especially in bathrooms and kitchens.

◉ Prevention is better than cure: The best mold control is preventing mold growth altogether. Here are some helpful tips:

Reduce moisture: Use dehumidifiers in damp rooms.

Ventilate: Regular cross-ventilation helps minimize moisture.

Preventive spraying: For particularly vulnerable areas, it’s helpful to use the DIY mold spray preventively – simply spray it every few weeks.

◉ Let it sit: Allow the spray to sit for at least 30 minutes so the natural ingredients can fully take effect.
